If you've got kids (or even if you haven't!) and staying in the Torbay area, then check out QuayWest in Paignton, just a couple of miles down the coast from Torquay. They've got a massive outdoor water park with loads of slides, go karts, crazy golf and a host of other fun stuff right on the seafront. Alright it may not that be that classy, but it's a cracking day out. Definately recommended, especially for families.
