Coastline Uncut's Mission

Our mission can be summarised by our company name - Coastline Uncut, and our slogan - Capture & Connect.

The “Uncut” part refers to our interest in documenting all coastal locations, not just the ‘prime cuts’ according to travel guides and popular opinion. After all, the main point of this website is to give you virtual experiences upon which you can make your own mind up. We do however provide guidance on which places we think you might be particularly interested in. Such places have been labelled ‘Choice’ locations.

The “Capture & Connect” part refers to that fact that we are not just concerned with visual documentation. We see our video collection as a great reference point for putting other information into context and we aim to connect you in two ways. Firstly, by connecting you with as many decent tourist information sites we can find, and secondly, by connecting you with each other. You will find plenty of opportunity to speak your mind or showcase your work on this site and we welcome every contribution with open arms.
